Women in FinTech: Meet Amparo Nalvarte and Victoria Blanco Alegria

<p>Welcome to our final episode of the series focusing on the Latin American region with Amparo Nalvarte and Victoria Blanco Alegria.</p><p>Amparo Nalvarte, recognized&nbsp;by MIT as part of their Innovators Under 35,&nbsp;for&nbsp;founding&nbsp;Culqi,&nbsp;a mobile payment system for smartphones using QR codes,&nbsp;revolutionizing the industry and boosting the growth of e-commerce in Peru. Nalvarte is also an angel investor of&nbsp;<em>Rextie</em>, the biggest digital foreign&nbsp;exchange&nbsp;service&nbsp;of Latin America. Now, she is developing her second startup,&nbsp;<em>B89</em>, the first cross-border neo-bank in Peru for&nbsp;Hispanic American immigrants, that will break all the paradigms of traditional banking&nbsp;and provide services tailored for their local financial needs, as well as their&nbsp;country-of-origin&nbsp;needs.&nbsp;</p><p>Victoria&nbsp;Blanco Alegria&nbsp;is&nbsp;the Founder and CEO of&nbsp;<em>Ábaco,&nbsp;</em>a Colombian microcredit fintech.
