VOP 2021: December 28, 2021 Possessing the Gate “Faith factor” Dispossess, Possess and Repossess. When we examine the Word Possession, it can be classified into three parts. Firstly, there are blessings that belong to us that are in the wrong location or in the hand of the ungodly or those who practice idolatry or erect evil altars. The may be wrongfully holding on to our inheritance. We are mandated to subdue, dispossess them and claim our inheritance. Secondly, there are blessings that belong to us that no one but us are in the position to claim. We are expected to freely claim them as well. Thirdly and most importantly, there are blessings that belong to us, but were stolen from us or hijacked. We are also expected to reclaim or repossess. The common factor of all three scenarios is that we must take back what rightfully belongs to us by the force of faith. “Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
