Twitter Ban: FG Gives Conditions To Lift Suspension

Despite the controversy that has met the indefinite suspension of twitter's operation in Nigeria, the federal government says it would only restore Twitter operation in the country if the platform would be used responsibly by the citizens. the minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, relayed this condition at a meeting with five envoys from the US, UK, Canada, European Union, and the Republic of Ireland, who had issued a joint statement condemning the indefinite suspension of the platform in Nigeria.
