Trump Pleads the Fifth in New York Attorney General’s Investigation 8/10/22

Former President Trump pleaded the Fifth today, stonewalling investigators as he faces mounting legal pressure on multiple fronts. The New York attorney general is investigating whether his company manipulated the value of its properties to dodge taxes and fraudulently obtain bank loans. And the trial begins in Vanessa Bryant’s lawsuit against Los Angeles County over photos of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter and seven other passengers. We take a look at what chance she could have at winning the case. Plus, many states are scrambling to fill open teacher positions.
