The State of International Mass Participation Events During COVID-19 | Armandos Linardos, Oceanman

In today’s episode we continue our series talking with our Living Sport community about COVID-19 and how others are handling it, and how we can learn from them during this time. The borders may be closed to international flights but today I am going to take you to Athens, Greece to talk with our event partner and friend, Armandos Linardos, Race Director of Oceanman Greece and Oceanman Cyrpus, an open-water swimming event with locations around the world. Armandos will provide his perspective on event management in the time of COVID-19, provide insight on some of the decision making that happens at the Event Director level, and explains how event management is a team sport!
