The Future of Sleep Medicine — A Discussion With One of the Trailblazers in Sleep

<p>Dr. David White is an internationally recognized expert on sleep medicine and treatment. Currently, he is the Chief Medical Officer at Philips Sleep and Respiratory Care and a Professor of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School. Dr. White initially served as the Chief Medical Officer for Respironics, Inc. He continued this role after the acquisition by Philips in 2008. In the past, Dr. White has also worked as the Editor-in-Chief for the journal SLEEP and the President of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Throughout his career, he has published over 200 papers on the pathophysiology of breathing disorders during sleep.</p>
