Stephen Qacung Blanchett heads to New York

Though he has been living in Juneau with his family for about three years, long-time residents of Bethel don’t need an introduction to Qacung, otherwise known as Stephen Blanchett. They have watched him and his brother grow up. Many were there when their group Pamyua first got together and performed, melding tradition with multi-cultural influences to make music that totally captivated those of us in the audience.
