Seamas 'Cheddar' Plunkett interview ahead of start of new hurling season

<p> </p> <p>At last the GAA season is upon us with the first competitive games taking place this weekend in the National Hurling League. </p> <p>The Laois hurlers travel to Wexford to take on Davy Fitzgerald’s side this Sunday in what will be the first game for new manager Cheddar Plunkett. </p> <p>And ahead of his second coming as Laois boss, Cheddar joins us on this week’s Talking Sport Podcast. </p> <p>He chats with Steven Miller about his decision to take on the role again, his backroom team and his views on the gap that Laois have to bridge. </p> <p>He also explains the story behind his nickname and how he enjoyed his role as a hurling analyst on the GAA Hour podcast with Colm Parkinson. </p>
