<p>USA TODAY 5 Things Sunday Host James Brown reflects on watching Buffalo Bills' Safety Damar Hamlin going into cardiac arrest during a football game.</p><p>Also, James and USA TODAY's Medora Lee discuss the minimum wage and a controversial California law that turns over determining the minimum wage for some fast food workers to an appointed board.</p><p>California Gov. Gavin Newsom&nbsp;signed the law known as AB 257, or the Fast Food Recovery Act into law on September 5, 2022. A million people signed a petition to have a referendum on the law.
