MY TESTIMONY OF BEING CAUGHT UP INTO HIS PREXENCE..BY ROY TUBBS<br />I went inot my bedroom and knelt down by my bed and begin praying and asking this...LORD, I DESIRE TO STAND IN YOUR PRESENCE AND BEHOLD YOUR GLORY...<br />and while I was speaking................<br /><br /> I WAS CAUGHT UP...+ This was some of my experience back several years ago.<br /><br />Have you ever been caught up into the very Presence of God?<br />During that time, He literally caught me up to a different place where there was a lot of color. But it wasn’t so much what I saw that completely transformed me. It wasn’t like I had walked out into some great field, or opened a window, or did anything of the sort, as are some people’s testimonies of being caught up typically depict. It was simply that I was caught up to a place in the spirit where I had no sense of my own consciousness—no sense of consciousness at all. I was not even familiar with who I was as a person. Any weaknesses, insecurities, sin, anything earthly in my life was non-existent. I was completely and totally at one with God, in complete and total union with Him, a place where I could only recognize Him—not myself.<br />It was a place of complete wholeness and beauty and so completely overwhelming that I remember when I was there, that I started to talk to the Lord—and I saw a side of His face, but I didn’t see His total face. I said, “Oh, I love it here. I don’t want to go back. I don’t want to go back.”<br />He said, “You have to go back. You have to go back and tell the people what you’ve experienced. You have to go back.”<br /><br />“Oh my gosh, Lord, I don’t want to.” Then I was back in my body or at least as I can explain it, and back into my own consciousness of self. I’m not sure if I was out of the body or in the body, just as Paul speaks of in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4: “I know a man…who was caught up to the third heaven.” Many believe Paul was speaking of himself. He said he didn’t know whether he was “in the body or out of the body.” He just knew that he was “caught
