This week Nicky Lambert and David Munday spoke with guest Dr Lindsay Balfour about Women's health technology: Why it could be so much more than period trackers. Dr Lindsay Balfour is Assistant Professor of Digital Media in the Centre for Postdigital Cultures at Coventry University. Her research examines the relationship between humans and technology from a feminist cultural studies perspective. Her current project is investigating access barriers and data surveillance in embodied computing including the concept of “tracking” through wearables, implantables, and ingestibles.
