BP: Beverley Powell is of Jamaican heritage and is an experienced Transformation Leadership Coach, and an Associate Coach Consultant, providing transformational Leadership development for global majority nurses and has designed and delivered inclusive leadership programmes for senior leaders. Beverley is a strategic EDI specialist with over twenty-two years in this space, and an author of: Burning My Superwoman Cape: Leadership Life lessons Beyond the Cape. Beverley is a value led coach with a focus on social justice, radical self-care, inclusive leadership, and empowerment. In early 2000’s in 2005 Beverley became an accredited Life Coach awarded by a national awarding body. Coaching in this field has encompassed both public and private sectors and her outstanding strategic leadership has led to successful strategic outcomes for a range of individuals and organisations for which she has worked. Her most recent success was to successfully coach an NHS senior nurse of colour into their first very senior leadership and management appointment within the NHS.
