Lawmakers try again to restrict sale of diet pills to minors

June 27, 2023 - In 2022, Gov. Kathy Hochul vetoed legislation restricting minors from purchasing over-the-counter diet pills and supplements. The measure has made its way through the state legislature again and has been tweaked in response to the governor's concerns, according to Sen.
