<p>Especially passionate about the local music and cultural scene, and well-respected among creatives and art aficionados of all kinds, the NARC. magazine and website aim to showcase the best in alternative music, art, literature, theatre, film, comedy and everything in between.</p><p>Its April’s issue is going to go down in history. It is their first entirely digital magazine out of necessity (i.e. Covid-19) and symbolises the value of our cultural community as a pillar of support during an incredibly difficult time, through the labyrinth of names on the front cover of venues and businesses that found themselves suddenly closed.</p><p><strong>Part 1: Life in the Media (2:40)</strong></p><p>Claire describes what happened 14 years ago that inspired her to quit her job and start an independent publication focusing on arts and culture  in the North East. She also describes her recent response to the coronavirus outbreak and how she kept the magazine relevant and running despite the devastating circumstances.</p><p><i>Q3: To put it into context, can you give an overview of your professional background?
