Gospel of Luke 22:47-53 - Prog 98

We want to say thank you as did Dr. Mitchell for your faithful prayer on behalf of this ministry. The Word of God is indeed unchanging and God’s truth is always true even now to this generation in these days. Thank you for your support. Dr. Mitchell continues with Luke’s account of our Savior’s betrayal and arrest. Judas was guide to those who arrested Jesus. As Jesus says in vs.53, this your hour and the power of darkness. Yet, in Jn 18:5-6, When Jesus asked His enemies who they were seeking. They said, Jesus of Nazareth. When the Lord said “I Am”, they all fell to the ground. Here the Lord Jesus demonstrates the glory of His power in a word. They needed to know they were not dealing with a mere man, but God in the flesh Himself.
