Episode 304: A Spotlight on the Saint Labre Community for Adults with Mental Health Conditions

<p>Kirsten Obadal is the founding peer member of the Saint Labre Community for Adults with Mental Health Conditions, a Basilica apostolate that emphasizes peer supported recovery – growing in healing and holiness through the intercession and fellowship of their peers, who also walk the continuous journey of mental health recovery. In this episode, she talks about the community and why this apostolate is so important to her. On Sunday evening, February 27, 2022, she will be hosting a a free Zoom session on the importance of hope for our mental health. One of the speakers will be Fr. Joseph Townsend, a Parochial Vicar at the Basilica, who will be reflecting on the virtue of hope.
