Tamatar ki chaat is prepared by cooking mashed potatoes and chickpeas with spices and a lot of tomatoes, and the latter is the star ingredients. The dish is itself very delicious and full of all flavors. <br><br>Ingredients: (Serving: 6 plates)<br><br>1. 2 tablespoons clarified butter/ghee + Extra for assembling<br>2. 2 tablespoons ginger, grated<br>3. 8 -10 tomatoes. medium size<br>4. 3-4 green chilies<br>5. 2 tablespoons coriander powder<br>6. 1 teaspoon cumin powder<br>7. 1 teaspoon turmeric<br>8. 1 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder<br>9. 1 teaspoon garam masala<br>10. 1 1/4 teaspoon amchoor<br>11. Salt to taste<br>12. 3 potatoes, boiled, mashed<br>13. 1/2 cup chickpeas<br>14. 1 Cup water<br>15. 4 tablespoons sugar<br>16. 1 teaspoon roasted cumin seed powder + extra for assembling<br>17. Chaat masala<br>18. Lemon juice<br>19. Fresh coriander<br>20.
