She works with minorities (in race, gender, education, socio-economic status, etc.), teaching them effective methods to speak up for themselves in the medical, employment, and personal relationship spaces. After experiencing a difficult twin pregnancy in 2017 and being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020, Jessica knows that many people shy away from advocating for themselves when speaking to those perceived as authority figures - especially doctors and nurses. She believes that self-advocacy is a crucial life skill that we all should possess, and her goal is for everyone to strengthen their competency and put it into practice.</p> <p>Jessica has successfully advocated for herself against a major car manufacturer in a lemon law case, her medical team, and senior leadership at a Fortune 500 company. She is a natural logical thinker and complex problem solver and has used her passion for process improvement to launch a coaching career helping others develop and employ effective self-advocacy strategies.
