Paulette Perhach started out as a journalist with no clue about the financial industry. But after the success of her article on women’s finances in Billard, “The Story of a Fuck Off Fund,” she has become an expert in financial writing. She writes for The Stacking Benjamins financial podcast, and is a contributor to New York Times, Vox, Elle, Slate, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Marie Claire, Yoga Journal, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Hobart, and Vice. Her book, Welcome to the Writer’s Life, is one Poets & Writers’ “Best Books for Writers.” In addition to her own writing, she works as a writing coach.
