<p>November 28 2022</p> <p>1:00 pm - 2:00 pm</p> <p> </p> <p>This webinar presents the processes used to develop, implement, and evaluate the preschool curriculum component of the Food Resource Equity and Sustainability for Health (FRESH) study, which aimed to improve vegetable intake, food security, and body composition of Native American children and their families. The FRESH study used a community-based participatory research process that involved tribal leaders in every aspect of the research. The intervention results showed that vegetable intake significantly increased in intervention children compared to controls for squash (p = 0.0007) and beans (p=0.0002).</p>
