Day 162: A Living Sacrifice (Bible Tribe Lev. 1-4)

<p>A burnt offering reminds us that the offering was wholly committed and consumed in the act of atonement. So, too, giving ourselves to God is a total commitment. We are to be a living sacrifice.</p> <p><strong>Bible Reading:</strong> <strong>Lev. 1-4</strong></p> <p>Verse of the day: Leviticus 1:4, "You are to lay your hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on your behalf to make atonement for you."</p> <p>Word of the day: Burnt offering. It is the Hebrew word:  עֹלָה (o-law').</p>
