In this fourth part of Christ’s Finished Work and Christian Consecration, we are reminded that it is God who is at work in us—both to will and to do His good pleasure. Our desire to pursue the things of God is not self-generated; it is evidence of His grace at work within. Recognizing this is to our advantage because it keeps us humble, grateful, and responsive.We learn that as children of God, we are called to live differently. We are not to entangle ourselves with the world or be shaped by its patterns. Our lives must be occupied by one thing—Christ. God desires our affection, not our performance. He wants our hearts, not just our habits. The reason behind everything we do must be rooted in love for the Father, not in conformity to the world. Listen and be blessed. Shalom.
