Chamber CEO Confident Shannon Has Benefitted From FDI Investment In Region This Year

The CEO of Shannon Chamber has expressed disappointment that Shannon didn't feature in the IDA's list of FDI investments in the first half of this year. IDA Ireland this week published it's half-year results, which showed that despite significnat global headwinds, foreign direct investments continues to proe resilient in this country. Of the 155 FDI investments in quarter one and quarter two this year, 73 were in companies based outside of Dublin. But Helen Downes says while it's disappointing there wasn't an isolated investment here, the region has benefitted.
