BONUS - Decision 2020: Local Races, feat. Ryann Perkins, Genise Sherrill and Steven Elias

<p>In this 10-minute* round-up, our election panel shares their thoughts on several local races in California to pay attention to:</p> <ul> <li>The Los Angeles City Council's David Ryu is up for reelection. However, the CD4 member is being challenged by activist and DSA member Nithya Raman, a campaign widely endorsed by progressive groups in SoCal. Ryu's slandered her hard work and is backed by that choke of a loser, Hillary Clinton.</li> <li>Kameron Chase Neal is currently running to be a progressive member of Simi Valley's Calleguas Municipal Water District Board. He aims to work more with local groups to encourage more sustainability and education on water conservation. He's also Ryann's cousin!</li> <li>As discussed before on the show, the Santa Clarita City Council has several candidates eyeing two seats, including that of Mayor Cameron Smyth and a vacancy to be left by soon-to-be-retired and self-admitted proud racist Bob Kellar. While there are several candidates running to take their seats, local progressives and Democrats have their eyes on veteran candidates Chris Werthe and Kelvin Driscoll.&nbsp;</li> <li>Some way, somehow, somewhere, Alliance Party candidate and businessman Rocky De La Fuente tapped Kanye...[checks notes]...West to be his running mate.</li> </ul> <p>Before we wrap up, we also take note of liberals' incessant attitude toward icons and heroes like RBG while politicos people actually like, specifically Sen. Bernie Sanders, are busting their hump for Joe Biden on the campaign trail and are still facing criticism only because they are more left than the Democrats want them to be.&nbsp;</p> <p>*Ryan said 10 minutes, but this is over 22 minutes.
