Are you ashamed of the Gospel? The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a hard pill to swallow for sinners!!

The Gospel is OFFENSIVE because it declares that you are a sinner incapable of saving yourself! It’s OFFENSIVE because it declares that other religions and philosophies are wrong, and that Jesus is the only Way to God. It’s OFFENSIVE because it DEMANDS that you SUBMIT to Jesus as Lord and TRUST and OBEY Him with every aspect of your life!! 🎯 The Gospel DECLARES that the only way to be right with God is through faith in Jesus the risen Messiah! You can’t just BELIEVE whatever you want and live HOWEVER you want!! Many, sad to say, who follow Jesus, are ashamed of His Gospel because of its stringent message. And these are they who do not want to "offend" others who adhere to false religions and philosophies that say there are many ways to God. They are ashamed to be bold enough to declare that there is only ONE WAY to God and that is through Jesus Christ. And because of Christian persecution and opposition and the risk of being ostracized, many water down His Gospel to a "love message only" and do not preach His core message: without repentance you will perish! God in His love, demonstrated His divine attribute by sending the world a Savior to die in their place, paying the penalty of their sins. But humanity by and large, has rejected Jesus - the only One that can save from God's wrath and restore sinful fallen man back to a right relationship with God! And many don't want to share the truth of that message for fear of retribution and hatred that is sure to come because we follow Jesus and preach/proclaim His message!
