Abnormally Dry Drought Conditions Have Returned; Stays Hot & Dry Through End of July; Best Chances for Isolated Storms This Sunday

<p>Today high-pressure ridge over the Rockies and extending into the High Plains warming afternoon high temperatures into the mid-90’s.  South winds will be breezy, and dryness will prevail.   Tomorrow, a cool front over the area will start off the day with some light north breeze, but it washes out during the day with highs climbing right back into the mi-90’s.  Sunday and Monday the ridge may weaken some and allow northwest flow to come over the top and through the area, triggering a late afternoon or evening isolated storm, with better chances on Sunday and lower probability Monday.   Tuesday ridge moves a bit more over the area and pushes highs into the upper 90’’s. </p>
