Genesis 1 is God's dream. Exodus 34:6-7 • God's character • Compassion • Loyal love, steadfast • Gracious • Slow to anger • Merciful • Will not clear the guilty • Visit iniquity to every generation • Is God emotional? • Do we want God to be emotional? Nehemiah 9:27-28 • Compassion and empathy • Suffer with  • Jesus had empathy because he entered into our suffering and let it kill him • We don't realize we are suffering apart from God and causing God to suffer. • We have to develop empathy for all of our fellow humans so we can be like Yahweh Isaiah 55:7 Thanks so much for listening!
