2181: Ratify the Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child - Elizabeth Aguil

<div>Child Activist Elizabeth Aguil has called on the government of South Sudan to ratify the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child. The government adopted the charter in 2015 but is yet to ratify it. The Charter is a regional human rights instrument addressing issues of particular interest and importance to children in Africa. Aguil says she along with partners will launch a campaign to have government ratify the treaty September this year.<br> <br> </div>
