On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Ukrainian Nationalist Forces of hampering the evacuation of citizens from war-torn areas. However, Ukrainian officials accuse the Kremlin of bombing the areas during evacuations. And, the Biden Administration is under immense pressure to bring down inflation, now at a 40 year high. Today at the White House, President Joe Biden and Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo pushed for passage of the bipartisan Innovation Act. On Capitol Hill, the House passed a bill keeping offices open until the fall. The $1.5 trillion package includes all pro-life and conscience protections, including the Hyde Amendment. Meanwhile, the Parental Rights in Education bill passed Florida's Senate and is now awaiting Governor Ron DeSantis' signature. Senior Research Fellow for the Heritage Foundation's DeVos Center for Religion and Civil Society, Jay Richards, joins to talk more about this bill and whether it is as radical as it is being presented. Finally this evening, a meeting this week in Rome, discussed the role of the female doctors of the Church. Professor of History of Ancient Philosophy at the Pontifical Urban University, Giulia Lombardi, joins to tell us more about this meeting and the topics she discussed.
