2-days Near Record Highs More Seasonal Sun & Mon; Some Scattered Rain Chances Sun; Rain Likely Tue/Wed w/a Stronger Storm System

<p>Today and tomorrow ahead of a trough out over northern California will deepen and move east producing upper-level ridging and turning our winds back to the west and southwest, warming temperatures further into the mid-80’s to near record levels for early October.  Sunday the trough will move through eastern CO and western KS with cooler more seasonal temperatures in the upper 60’s and low around 4o and some chances for showers and isolated t-storms.   Monday temps rebound back into 70’s with some upper-level ridging between one trough moving off to the northeast and another stronger main trough advancing into the Rockies from the west.  This system will move across eastern CO Tuesday afternoon resulting in gusty south winds pumping moisture and some scattered rain showers into the Tri-stare area.</p>
