1993: From years of brutal war, Liberia is today contributing towards peace in South Sudan

<div>Looking back in African history about 20 years ago, no one would have thought that a country which was ravaged by war would now be among those contributing to efforts aimed at achieving durable peace in South Sudan.<br> <br> </div> <div>This is the story of Liberia, a west African country which experienced brutal civil war from 1989 to 1997.
