<p>Today&#39;s guest is Krista LeRay, Founder of Penny Linn Designs. Founded in April of 2020, after running out of canvases to stitch, Krista decided to try her hand at painting a needlepoint canvas and fell in love with the process. Penny Linn Designs is constantly evolving and expanding from bringing on new designers under <a href="https://pennylinndesigns.com/blogs/news/penny-linn-collective" target="_blank">The Collective</a> to fresh <a href="https://pennylinndesigns.com/collections/new">new canvases</a> and <a href="https://pennylinndesigns.com/collections/accessories">fun accessories</a>. </p> <p>Upon graduating from The University of Kentucky in 2013 with a degree in Business Communications, Krista moved to New York City for her job at Major League Baseball. She was with MLB for five years before leaving to work for herself full-time. </p> <p>Penny Linn Designs was created from a love of needlepoint, founded on the memory of a grandmother, and thoughtfully crafted in a one-bedroom apartment in New York City.
