Blood of Europe: reportage of a war

Sangue d’Europa (Blood of Europe) was a headline used by the daily newspaper Il Manifesto during the bombing of Serbia this year. The same headline here is based on the same considerations made at the time by the editors of Il Manifesto, namely that the terrible events that are bloodying the Balkans are the dramatic legacy of the diplomatic shortcomings of the nascent Europe.
