You've CONFESSED Jesus...But Will He CONFESS YOU Before the Father?!!

Visit me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker. 😊 💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: Many claim and confess that Christ Jesus is their Lord and Savior, but will He claim and confess that you are His on Judgment Day before the Father?? Will He acknowledge you as one of His own? The acid test that will back up any claim of confession for Christ one may have, is if they are keeping and obeying His commandments! He tells us in John 14:15, "If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments." Confessing Christ will do you no good on the Day of Judgment, if you have not obeyed any of His commandments! Because Lord Jesus tells us in Matthew 7:21 that many will say to Him on that Day when He judges the inhabited world in righteousness, Lord, Lord... And we all know what He tells these pretenders! 😱 Bearing this in mind, our text of Scripture for today is found in Matthew 10:32-33: “Therefore, the one who confesses and acknowledges Me before men [as Lord and Savior, affirming a state of oneness with Me], that one I will also confess and acknowledge before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But the one who denies and rejects Me before men, that one I will also deny and reject before My Father who is in heaven." Amen! Christ Jesus speaks here about a Day so momentous that it will outshine any other day of your life! One Day you will stand in the presence of God. On that Day you will see the Son of God, and you will hear His voice. He will speak to you. The Son of God will say one of two things. Either He will confess you, or He will disown you! So we better make sure that our confession for Christ results in producing fruit (of righteousness) in keeping with our repentance, and not in disobedience and hypocrisy! No one will want to hear, "Depart from me, you workers of iniquity!" Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to Go
