Your Sure Investment _ Pt 9

<p>Saturday 9th January 2021&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>A lovely weekend to you in the name of Jesus. We thank for today and I am sure you enjoying yourself.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>We are still talking about “Your Sure Investment”. All we have been trying to establish in the past few days is the fact that you have an investment in heaven; that you have a heavenly treasure that is real and you can enjoy the benefits here on earth.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>We trust God that you will see the reality and enjoy the benefits of your heavenly investment in Jesus name.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>1 Timothy 6:17-19 (NLT) 17 Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. 18 Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. 19 By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Now if you read this on the surface, you will think that Paul was actually talking to those that are rich alone but the instruction is applicable to everybody. He understood that there was a treasure in heaven, he understood the reality of this heavenly treasure and he gave them instructions not to trust money but rather trust in God. Why?</p> <p><br></p> <p>Nothing here on earth is secured.</p> <p><br></p> <p>He said use your resources to do good and help those who are in need. This instruction is not only for the rich, it’s for everybody. Whatever the resources you have, no matter the amount and no matter your status in life, you can still do good.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>In verse 19, He said by so doing, they will be storing up in their treasure; not earthly treasures but heavenly treasure. Paul understood the reality of this account and not only did he understand it, he also showed us how to operate it.&nbsp;</
