Your Sure Investment _ Pt 10

<p>&nbsp;Sunday 10th January 2021&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>A beautiful Sunday to you in the name of Jesus.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>We thank God for today and I am sure you are enjoying yourself. Whatever time zone you are, remember today is Sunday, so you should try to make it to church either online or physically. &nbsp;Fellowship with others is one of the ways we make investments in our heavenly account.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>We are still talking about “Your Sure Investment” and will read again from&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>1 Timothy 6: 17 - 19 (NLT)</p> <p><br></p> <p>17 Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. 18 Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. 19 By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.</p> <p><br></p> <p>We spoke about this yesterday, Paul was showing us that he understood the reality of the heavenly account and he knew how to operate it.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Like we discussed yesterday, even though this verse is addressed to the materially rich, the instruction is applicable to the rich and those who are not as rich. Paul said you should not trust in your financial resources but in the living God. And this is what Jesus meant when He said “Put your trust in heaven”&nbsp;</p> <p>He also said that God wants you to have everything for your enjoyment. He said one of the purposes of wealth is to do good and be generous to those in need, by so doing you will be laying up in store for yourself treasures in your heavenly account which is a good foundation for the future and you will also experience the eternal life of God.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Paul was explaining this to the Philippians in Philippians 4: 17 (AMP)&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>17 Not that I see
