WINTER STORM WARNING IN PLACE THROUGH 6 PM FOR CH, RA, SH, TH, SH, LG, GO COUNTIES Today a potent upper-level trough and low-pressure system moves through the area, and with easterly upsloping winds 10-15 mph, 3” to 6” accumulation is possible. Tomorrow skies clear and temps will remain colder in the mid to upper 30’s. A reinforcing shot of cold air for Thursday with a quick moving upper-level trough may squeeze out some snow flurries Wednesday night, but daytime temps will be in the low 30’s with sunshine 30’s. A large upper-level ridge out west starts working toward the Rockies Friday with warming temperatures back to the 40’s and low 50’s to end the week and through the weekend.
