Windy Scattered Showers Today; Nice Sat Windy Sun; Windy, Cooler Light Precipitation Chances Mon-Thu; Warmer Fri-Sun

<p>Today a quick moving low-pressure and cold front move through midday, with gusty north winds and some scattered light rain showers.  Highs will reach into the middle 50’s and lows drop into upper 20’s.  Zonal flow and slight riding over the weekend warms temps back into the 60’s followed by an upper-level trough moving over the Central US with a series of progressive shortwaves lining up starting Sunday night and Monday and ending Wednesday and Thursday.  This period will see slightly cooler than normal temps, plenty of wind and hit and miss scattered precipitation. Tuesday and Wednesday need to be monitored for a potential high wind event. </p>
