Windy & Much Cooler; Seasonal First Day of Fall; Continued Dryness & Above Normal Temps To End the Month

<p>TODAY a dry cold front and upper-level trough move through with gusty north winds.  This will bring temperatures to seasonal values for the last day of summer and first day of Fall, highs in the upper 60’s and low 70’s and lows in the low to mid-40’s.  Winds will continue from a northerly direction through Wednesday as the upper-level trough lifts northeast and out of the Central U.S.  Later in the day Wednesday and Thursday upper-level ridging will result in warmer temperatures and continued dryness.    Friday another trough and dry cold front move through keeping seasonal temperatures in check to end the week.</p>
