Why is the man who trusts in man cursed (Jeremiah 17:5)?

"The man who trusts in man” is the person who rejects God and relies on his own strength and ingenuity or who looks to other people for help and rescue rather than God. Such a person is cursed with a dried-up, empty life. He is destined to experience hardship, distress, and eventual death. Correspondingly, the person who trusts in the Lord, is richly blessed! THIS individual thrives, grows, and prospers, even in the heat of challenging circumstances!! Beloved, some of us got our eyes on the wrong things, namely this Babylonian world - which is a type of Egypt. Our priorities are out of order 😔! Those who claim Jesus' Name, are not completely putting their COMPLETE trust in Him. Rather, they seek security from the government, from their jobs, from their marriages, and from their bank accounts. And that got me to thinking the other night and I posed this pondering thought over there on Facebook: "Even on a humanistic level, 🤔 why would anyone trust in ANYTHING this "world" has to offer? Especially, when Satan is the "god of this world!" On the face of that alone, makes one weary! Do not be deceived! Our Lord God affirms, in this regard, these biblical truths: 🎯 1 John 2:15-17 👉🏾"Do not love the world." ..."For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life." 🎯 2 Corinthians 4:4 👉🏾 Satan is "the god of this world." 🎯 Jeremiah 17:5 👉🏾"Cursed is the man who trusts." We are to put our trust in no one but the Lord. He tells us in Matthew 6:33-34, that our priority, which is first and of great importance, is to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousnes
