Who's King in Your Life? // Don't Get it Twisted (Day 2)

"Who’s king in your life? The reason why this is so significant is because Paul expressed in Romans 5:21 “So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead...” The word “rule” is not one we should glaze over or ignore. This word (rule) distinguishes the difference between between lordship and kingship. Follow me as we go deeper. We understand that God is the Lord of all. The Bible says “The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein” (Psalms‬ ‭24:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬). So whether you accept it or not, you belong to God. You are owned by and belong to Him. He’s the creator of all and is Lord of all. But He cannot be King of everyone unless we accept Him as King. You see, that is the fundamental difference between lordship and kingship, it’s based on who rules. When God becomes King over our lives, that means we accept and receive His rulership in our lives."
