Who Is the PlayStation Portal For?

<p>We got more details on the PlayStation Portal this week, revealing that it is indeed a remote-play device that only supports streaming from a PlayStation 5 console. It is incapable of streaming games from the PlayStation Network&#39;s own streaming service via PlayStation Plus Premium. This begs the question, who is this device for? At the $199.99USD price point, we aren&#39;t optimistic that this device will sell well.</p> <p><br></p> <p>In an attempt to get the UK&#39;s approval in the Activition-Blizzard deal, Microsoft has agreed to transfer cloud gaming rights on current and new Activision-Blizzard games over to Ubisoft. In the agreement, even Microsoft&#39;s game streaming platform (Game Pass Ultimate) would need to have the games licensed back to them through Ubisoft.
