Yes, her real name is Ocean Ramsey. She is a marine scientist, ethologist, conservationist, surf, freedive and SCUBA instructor from Hawaii who specializes in shark behavior and safety. She has a diversity of specializations, degrees, and certifications and an extensive amount of experience from traveling the world and working as a safety officer in addition to her research and conservation programs.
