<p>The National School Boards Association has apologized for a Sept. 29 <a href="https://nsba.org/-/media/NSBA/File/nsba-letter-to-president-biden-concerning-threats-to-public-schools-and-school-board-members-92921.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">letter</a> it sent to the Biden administration inferring that irate parents' actions toward school personnel could be considered acts of “domestic terrorism.”&nbsp;</p><br><p>“On behalf of [the National School Boards Association], we regret and apologize for the letter," the group <a href="https://static.foxnews.com/foxnews.com/content/uploads/2021/10/NSBA-Letter.jpg" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">wrote</a> Oct. 22, adding that "there was no justification for some of the language included in the letter."</p><br><p>The statement was a “non-apology,” Lindsey Burke, director of the Center for Education Policy at The Heritage Foundation, said in response. The association “did not issue an apology for trying to get the White House involved and the FBI ... so, it was really a pretty weak mea culpa on their part,”&nbsp;she said.
