When the world wasn't going according to plan, she used to tell Margalit, "Don't worry, we just need to train our brains to see things differently." Margalit co-founded Gotcha Covered; a multi-million dollar bedding company that she and her partner ran for over 20 years, finally selling it in 2016. Margalit holds a B.S. in Nutrition from Ohio State University, and is a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
