What Shape & Size Should My Baby’s Food Be at First?

It can be confusing, but smaller foods are not ideal when your baby is just learning to eat. Your baby can’t pick up and self-feed very small pieces early on, and cutting foods so small can increase choking risk early on in feeding.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In this episode I explain what shape and size to cut baby foods when you are starting baby-led weaning. I share some simple starter foods that are safe for babies to eat, along with information about other foods not to feed early on.
