The James Webb telescope was designed by NASA, in collaboration with the European and Canadian Space Agencies. It was deployed on January 8th after taking off from Kourou, French Guiana, on Christmas Day. Its next step is to reach its final orbit, located 1.5 kilometres away from our planet, and better understand the Universe and its galaxies.</p><br><p><strong>Where does the name come from?
