What Is Going On With The Mobile Parks In New York

​Over the past two years, residents of the Sherwood Court Mobile Park in Allegany, NY have been complaining about the color of the water. The Department of Health tested the water and found high levels of manganese. The owner was fined, and the mobile home ordered to be closed in April. Yvonne Maldonado from MHA (Manufactured Housing Action) spoke with HMM. It looks like the mobile park has been sold, the department of health is not returning phone calls and it is unclear if the water issue has been fixed. The residents of Sherwood Court Mobile Park are facing uncertainty on all fronts. HMM will continue following up on this situation. Interview by Aileen Javier
