“Years ago, I was struggling with the competing pressures of work, parenting, relationships and the expectations I put on myself. I often felt isolated in this experience, like no one else would or could understand, even though I had an active social life and solid friendship base. This ultimately led me to seek support and discover new ways of being.<br /><br />After “getting everything, I wanted and then seeing it all fall apart”, I undertook a journey of self-discovery and transformation with the same vigor I put into building a business. I received incredible support, learned new ways and experienced possibilities I wasn’t able to even imagine before. What looked like a tragedy on the way through ultimately became an incredible gift.<br /><br />I have been inspired to find ways to give back what I received and share what I learned with those who were looking. This is my vocation, whatever I do. Breaking the cycles. Paying it forward. Making it better for those that come after.”<br /><br />Carter is currently Managing Director, Strategy & Consulting, Supply Chain & Operations (SCO) for Accenture following GRA's acquisition in early 2021. Previously, He was a Founder & Partner at GRA Supply Chain Pty Ltd, a corporate advisory firm focussing on Supply Chain & Organisational Capability with 24-year history, a team of 60+ professionals, offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane & Canberra and a Blue-Chip client base. Carter lectured at Monash University at the Master’s Level and has had frequent high-profile public speaking events, press quotes and published articles throughout his career.<br /><br />Carter is also a Recovery & Systems Invention Coach, on the National Leader Body of the Mankind Project Australia and recently launched a mentoring service for young men called “That Guy” with his son Campbell. “That Guy” aspires to light up young men’s lives by providing inspirational and aspirational<br />companionship, advocacy and support on the journey from boyhood to young man. And its mission and purpose is “to cr
