In our study, Dr. Mitchell looks at the need for forgiveness. He asks “Just how bad are we in the eyes of God?” The scriptures reveal the universal fact of sin in every person. How can it be dealt with? Man cannot deal with it sufficiently to please God. So, God Himself has to deal with the problem of sin in His creatures, in man woman and child. As Dr. Mitchell points out, God deals, not with the degree of sin, but with the fact of sin. It is not a matter of how much or how little the sin, but rather there is any sin at all. And as Scripture declares, “There is none righteous, no not one”.
